  5. Jia says:

    Hi there,
I love the theme and I’m a first-time user to WP so there are a few questions if you don’t mind contacting me afterwards to explain!

    1) In the screenshot above, what is the name of the typewritter font? I’ve experienced problems with fonts lately; the fonts would show up differently on different computers (MAC vs. PC is a huge one; but across PC’s, the fonts even show differently) Do you know how to solve the font problems? How do I ensure the font shows up the same?

    2) The blog title (on the top right sidebar) – I do NOT want an active link there. Rather, I want the title in black and the yellow highlighted block behind it. I’ve been wondering what is the code if you just want to yellow-highlight a word (such as “Paper 5″ in your screenshot)

That’s about it for now…. hope to hear back from you soon!!!
    You’re awesome :D

The font is courier, a web safe font. Here’s a good reference for picking fonts: http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html

To change out the page link in the top right open up header.php – on line 55 you’ll see the code that’s displaying it. Remove the link tag and surround the bloginfo(‘name’) with h2 tags. Then add the following to the styles.css file:
      #blogname h2 {margin: 0;}

        Great! ….more questions!
        1. How can I get more margin on the top?
For example, when I hover over the page titles(ie. “About Me”) in the navigation bars, the sub-pages would take so much space that it cuts into my blog so some of my writting in the blog is blocked out by the sub-page-titles. Therefore, I would want more margin on the top (ie. push the BLOG TITLE and DATE down a bit) so nothing gets covered. How do I do that?

        2. How do I align the everything on the sidebars (bottom on the right) to center? Right now, all the writtings (“Categories”, “Meta”, etc) are aligned to the left, leaving much space on the right and looking awkward, how could I fix that?

        THANK YOU AMANDA!

Thanks for the awesome theme. Loved it on the spot. Continue the good work. I love it when a theme is not out of the box with just some different colours.

  8. Tania says:

Can you help me with my blog?

  9. Anteela says:

I love this theme. I just wish there was a bit more room at the top so I can add a blog title. :( Is there anyway you can add this? I’ve tried ‘shopping it in, but it looks a wee bit squished. I know it’s a free design and you have a life. If you could, it would be much appreciated. Otherwise, I’ll have to work some more PS magic. :p

  10. Lily says:

Thank you for the lovely theme! We’re total newbies attempting to set up our blog and can’t figure out how to upload our logo under our tagline…Could you help? Thanks :)

  11. Wendy S. says:

Amanda, you’re an amazing artist and love this theme!!! I tried to install it two different ways, one with the theme manager and then uploading the files directly with ftp, but I keep getting these error messages, I would so appreciate it if you could help me out : ) Ty so much again…

  12. Wendy S. says:

I fixed it Amanda, I moved the pages widget onto the sidebar and the error message went away, yayyyy! Ty again for the great theme!

I’m trying to figure out the placement of the right column image in your sample layout. -The one just under the site description. Any tips?

    Thanks again!

Wonderful! Did you look at the file sidebar.php? It has directions written in it to add a flickr/etsy badge or image. If that’s not working shoot me an email – oh.amanda@gmail.com

      Thanks!

      • Alana says:

Done. We crossed in the mail. Thank you for the lightning fast response!

If you see anything you like, let me know and I’ll email a discount code as a little thank you for the fabulous design.

    • Alana says:

Wait… I’m daft. Sorry about that. Just saw your note up top. It’s one of the first things you mention. Doh!

      :)

  14. Sandia says:

I love this theme! How do a get place an image just below the tagline? Your help is appreciated. Thank you :)

  15. Caroline says:

    Hi!

I love the theme and was able to install it with no problems… it looks beautiful! I can’t seem to figure out how to enable comments… it appears that they are enabled on wordpress, but I keep going to the actual site and it says comments were closed, even when I manually set them to be accepted on one specific post as a test.

    Any thoughts?
    Thank you!

    • admin says:

First go to ‘Discussion’ located under ‘Settings’ – there should be an option in there to turn comments on and enable threaded comments. If that doesn’t work there is a check box at the bottom of each post in the admin section that asks if you’d like to enable comments. Hopefully that’ll fix it!

      • Caroline says:

Thank you so much! Comments are now working fine on new posts. I think I will leave the other ones alone. One other question- I’d like to enable an amazon showcase in the sidebar. I tried adding this php to the sidebar template” ”

but it hasn’t shown up. Any suggestions on how I add this into the theme?

        Thank you again!
